I had NO IDEA what was coming over the next 3-1/2 days!

WE MADE IT! What an experience!  It was probably the most difficult thing I've ever done... a lot like working out on a Stairmaster for eight hours each day while breathing through a straw (we were above 10,000 ft most of the time and hiked as high as 13,650 feet)... and absolutely worth every minute! I'm in the middle of the last row, black t-shirt...
